Bone broth is rich in minerals that support the immune system and contains healing compounds like collagen, glutamine, glycine, and proline. The collagen in bone broth heals gut lining and reduces intestinal inflammation. We make this for Jovan on a monthly basis. I work full-time so it's a little hard on me. My husband makes this broth usually and from scratch. We always purchase our bone marrow and bones from our local butcher as hormone-free, antibiotic-free and organic. We add onions, garlic, cilantro, and celery with filtered water for 24-48 hours to boil so the vitamins come out of the bones. We wait for the broth to cool down and we freeze one cup of broth in a plastic freezer bag and freeze over 30 bags. That way we take out a bag each day and our Jovan eats it daily. We give Jovan half a cup of bone broth each day. Makes it easy on us. Our family started consuming this soup daily and we have reaped the benefits. We have been making this awesome soup for the past year and it fits perfectly with the ketogenic diet. I will show you pictures of the process of how we make the bone broth and which herbs we use. Bone broth is so beneficial to the gut and it helps our Jovan greatly.
